Danielle + Rudy {Sonesta Ocean Point Resort, Maho Bay, Sint Maarten}

We are so excited to share this wedding blog with you. This wedding takes us to the beautiful, friendly, and idyllic Dutch island of Sint Maarten, where our beautiful couple, Danielle + Rudy, tied the knot at the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort.

We arrived days before the wedding, and used the time to get a lay of the land. My team and I, scouted the entire island, choosing exceptional locations that would help produce some amazing story telling imagery. We also knew from previous conversations, that Danielle + Rudy were very open to our ideas and creative decisions. We were also very excited that we were in close proximity to the famous Maho Beach. A popular local beach, right next to Sint Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport, known for low-flying airliners, driving the crowds below wild with excitement. There was no way we could come this far and not get an epic shot of a landing airliner with our couple.

We have a passion for all things LOVE. Danielle + Rudy share such beautiful love. One that seems more like a fairytale…. A love that best selling romance novels are made of. Even more, their in person, down-to-earth, warm, welcoming persona, immediately makes you realize how wonderful they truly are as a couple. And in those private moments, you see the way they look at each other, and without a doubt, you know their love was complete destiny.
